Hey all you CrossFit'ers! I am hosting a house concert at my house in Fairport on Saturday, May 16th at 7:00, and I'd like to extend an invitation to everyone.
What is a house concert, you ask? Basically, when independent musicians are touring all over the country and end up with a hole in their schedule, they will sometimes do a concert in someone's home. As the host of the concert, I provide them with an audience and ask people to make a donation (typically $10-$15 per person, all of which goes to the artist) The artist gets a great, intimate place to play where they don't have to contend with bar noise or coffee grinders. You get a get to hear some great music - up close and personal - and there is always great food and drink to be had.
