Some of us have talked about doing CrossFit Endurance (CFE) in addition to our normal WODs. I am looking at starting this myself in February to get ready for triathlon season. The CFE site (http://www.crossfitendurance.com) posts 4 WODs each day. One each for running, cycling, swimming, and rowing. I was thinking that if we set up 4 days a week of CFE, one for each event, perhaps we could get a group (or groups) together for some of these workouts. If the schedule was regular, people could even plan on it!
Something like:
Monday: row
Tuesday: swim
Wednesday: bike
Thursday: run
Fri-Sun: off, or make-up a day you missed, or whatever...
I'll probably be doing bricks on Sundays once the weather warms up a bit and would be open to doing those with a group if people were interested.
You are supposed to do the CFE workout at least 3 hours apart from your regular WOD. I normally do my CF WOD in the evening, but I'd be open to shifting to the morning if we got a regular crew up for CFE in the evenings.
So, anyone else interested? I know it would be easier for me to commit to CFE and to a schedule if I knew that others were going to be doing it too! I'm sure I would push myself harder!!!!
