A couple friends of mine do marketing work for the Empire 8 conference, and specifically for Nazareth College's athletic department. They put together the Common Man Combine at Nazareth last year and are doing it again this year on the first weekend in June. It is a 9 event competition for all ages that sounds, well, like something that CrossFit-ers would kick serious butt at. (mile run, sprints, pull ups, L-hangs, obstacle course, medicine ball throws, etc.)

The registration will be reset for 2009 in a few weeks. I am definitely going to sign up for it! Might be fun to get a bunch of CF folks there to show 'em how it's done! Anyone else interested?
Just got an email from them... registration is now open and they are only accepting the first 75 people to sign up. If anyone is interested, sign up early!
sounds pretty cool. Wish they had a team competition so we could all kick some a@ss together. I'll look into it some more. Good way too let everyone know how much better Crossfit is than any other training regiment!
